I am reading MISSING: The Oregon City Girls by Linda O'Neal. The novel is a shocking true story of abduction and murder. My first instinct about this book is, its very intense which interested me and also it made me want to keep reading without stopping. Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis were 7th graders when they went missing. Their abducter was the father of one of their friends. Ward Weaver was the killer and he kidnapped both girls in the same spot and buried them in his yard under a concrete slab. During the investigations many didn't believed Weaver was the killer but at the end Linda proved them wrong. Since this novel was based on a true story it made the characters very realistic and it made my reading easier. Also what I thought that was crazy about the story is how one of the girls that were missing had lived in the killers house for a whole summer before she went missing
